Joanna Macy turned 95 on May 2nd, and she’s still active and loving the world. Her synthesis of Buddhist practice, love for the world, systems thinking, and environmental activism has been a major influence on many people, including Thich Nhat Hanh, Robin Wall Kimmerer, and the Dalai Lama. The Sounds True Foundation is sponsoring a new podcast with Joanna Macy and Jess Serrante to provide more access to Joanna’s thoughts, teaching, and practices as Joanna nears the end of her life. The podcast show notes will include resources and practices you can use to discuss climate change and other critical issues facing the world with your friends and loved ones. The title of the podcast is “We Are The Great Turning: Love, Courage, and Connection in the Climate Crisis” . The link to the home page for the podcast and project can be found here: We Are The Great Turning
