Similar to the quote from Greg Kramer, Christina Feldman describes the benefits of learning to dwell in joyful effort in our practice. This means not approaching our practice with a sense of grim determination. She says that “Meditation is never meant to be approached as an ordeal, a grim task of chipping away at a rock face.” You can find her article here: Making a Joyful Effort.
