The sessions are outdoors beneath a large tent that has no side walls, providing shade and great ventilation. There is parking behind the church, near the tent. The tent is in a grassy field and has no seating, so please bring whatever you'd like to sit on for meditation, e.g., folding chairs, benches, cushions, or a blanket.
There is enough room beneath the tent that we can have six-foot spacing between all participants, so masks will not be required, though you're welcome to wear one if you feel more comfortable. Family groups can be seated closer to one another than six feet.
While we are meeting outdoors, we have dropped the requirement that people be vaccinated in order to attend in-person meditation sessions. Because we have several members in the meditation group who have compromised immune systems, we will continue to work to protect the health of our most sensitive members. So, we'll continue to follow guidance from State and Local health departments, and we'll review our vaccination and masking policies when the meditation sessions move indoors again.
